Whether you're a registered patient, new patient or out of town visitor making an appointment to see a doctor is easy.
Outside of our normal practice hours medical care can be accessed via:

24 hours a day
If you need urgent care outside of these hours please go to the Emergency Department at Wellington Hospital or dial 111 on your phone for an Ambulance

How to Access Afterhours Medical Care
Simply contact us on (04) 912-2642 and speak to one of our reception team to make an appointment at a time that suits you.
If the appointment is urgent then we will do our best to fit you in that day. If you have a preferred time or day, please let us know and we can schedule an appointment in advance to suit you. See a doctor in Wellington today.
If its after hours, you can send us an email with your contact details and preferred time. We will call/text you back confirming the appointment so you don't have to ring us again in the morning.

Enrolling at the practice is easy, and by registering with Central Wellington Medical you ensure that you have access to a GP in the city for medical care and advice when you need it. Its a good idea to be enrolled with a doctor in Wellington so that you receive any important health information. You may also qualify for subsidised health care under one of the local PHO programmes for Smoking, Cardio Risk and Diabetes.
To enroll, download a registration form below. Fill out your basic contact details (name, age, DOB), select your eligibility from the list (are you a NZ Citizen or a Visitor) then scan or email it to us. You can wait and fill this out when you come for your consult if you wish.
If you want to have any previous health records transferred to us then please fill out the additional form.
